M# Tutorials

Learn to build .NET applications with M#. Our step-by-step tutorials will get you up-to-speed rapidly.
If you already know ASP.NET and C#, you can master M# in a week or two.

In this lesson we will learn how to convert a drop down list to an inner form.

Merged form

Let's continue on the same example used in the previous lesson.

In our example an Employee has an Address and an Address contains many properties, but the problem is that M# creates a drop down list to select an existing address for the employee, which is wrong because an address is not shared between employees and we want to edit it.
Fortunately M# makes easy for us to merge an inner form.

This form for the address is now fully integrated with the main form for employee information, even for validation messages.
