Menu items

In this lesson we will learn how to create menu items.

The first thing is to create a menu. Like for creating a module, open a page, type "menu" and select "New".

You can add items like an element in a module. When you create an item, M# asks you for the target URL of your item.

The generated item is a menu item with a link to our previously selected page and with the same name. You can change the name by changing the "Text" attribute.

M# generates the following code for the menu and the item.

If the link corresponds to the selected page it has the "selected" CSS class.

Unless you want to create a custom item an action is by default created and corresponds to a redirection to the page.

You can create all types of action you need, it acts like a button in a form.
